New Student Theatre Group Seed Funding

The University of Melbourne Theatre Board offers Seed Funding grants to new affiliated student theatre groups to encourage diversity and renewal of student theatre.

Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year and will be discussed and assessed at the Theatre Board meetings held monthly during Semester.

Seed Funding is to be spent on a production or performance within one year of the grant being approved. 

 

It is possible for applicants to apply for other funding sources from the Theatre Board (as long as each application meets the requisite requirements and criteria).

Maximum funding: $2,000.

 

Before submission, a face-to-face meeting must be made with Union House Theatre's Artistic Director to discuss the application.

Please Note:

Applicants must be Student Theatre Groups currently affiliated with Union House Theatre or an individual currently enrolled in any University of Melbourne Course (undergraduate or graduate).
